The ultimate goal of this journey is the search for the magical Northern Lights, which includes an adventurous Northern Lights Cruise from Reykjavík. By day, you’ll explore the vibrant capital city of Reykjavík and discover centuries of Icelandic life with a visit to the Skógar Museum.
From your base in the charming coastal village of Vik, you'll journey to Iceland's most breathtaking water features. Witness the otherworldly beauty of Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, filled with floating icebergs. The experience is capped off with a relaxing dip in the warm, mineral-rich geothermal waters of the iconic Blue Lagoon.
Explore Iceland's famous Golden Circle, a route of incredible geological wonders. You'll experience the raw energy at the geothermal fields of Geysir and learn about the volcanic nature of the island with a visit to the Lava Exhibition Center. The journey culminates as you straddle two continents while exploring the rugged rift valley of Thingvellir National Park.
This incredible 7-day journey begins in Iceland's capital, Reykjavík, with a guided walking tour before embarking on an adventurous Northern Lights cruise.** You'll travel the famous Golden Circle to experience natural wonders including the Geysir thermal area and the Gullfoss waterfall.
