You’re a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. You can easily handle altitudes up to 5,000 feet.
Your cruise ends this morning in the vibrant Canadian city of Vancouver. Ascend Grouse Mountain on an enclosed gondola and take in panoramic views while you enjoy lunch on the peak of Vancouver. Join a private ranger-led tour to meet two grizzly bears that were rescued in 2001. Later, stop at beautiful Stanley Park, Canada’s renowned urban rainforest. Follow the park’s famous seawall and encounter mountain views along trails, beaches, historical landmarks, and colorful gardens.

Check into the iconic Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, perched on a ridge offering unforgettable views of Denali.
When conditions allow, your ship cruises up to the mammoth Hubbard Glacier, one of Alaska’s largest glaciers. Have your camera ready and take in the natural beauty of the glacier's stunning surface.

This morning, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, which affords the best opportunities to view the region’s wildlife. Learn about the history of the park and see why Denali is one of the top three reasons that people visit Alaska. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Step aboard the popular Sternwheeler Discovery, an unforgettable journey showcasing Alaska’s diverse culture and rich history. Make stops along the way to meet the people and get a taste of local life. Take a scenic motor coach ride to Denali National Park. Tonight, enjoy a musical performance that tells the story of the first brave men to summit Denali, followed by dinner.
Arrive today in Fairbanks, in the great state of Alaska, on an adventure that brings together the best of both land and sea. As travelers’ arrival times vary greatly, we have no group activities planned during the day. Enjoy dinner on your own tonight.

Discover the Alaskan wildlife during an expedition that takes you up close to the whales, porpoises, sea lions, seals, eagles, and other wildlife abundant in this area. Marvel at the sounds of nature and the sea – your tranquil soundtrack while a local expert narrates.
Travelers must have the ability to board the vessel. There is a short walk from the ship to the vessel. The layout and design of these boats still give you the small boat feel – but with big boat stability. They are all equipped with bathrooms, 3 outdoor decks and indoor seating for everyone with extended size windows for optimum viewing, even for those who want to stay inside.

Actual flight time is 65 minutes. Total time from ship and back is 90 minutes. Flight times vary and will be confirmed by the Tour Manager during the cruise portion of the tour. Travelers weighing over 260 pounds will be charged $450 for this option. All travelers are required to provide their weight to thier Collette Tour Manager upon their arrival in Alaska. There is no landing on this tour. The type of plane used is a floatplane.
