Fado is the soulful blend of voice and the Portuguese guitar, a musical expression so central to Portugal that UNESCO has recognized it as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its name comes from the Latin fatum: fate, reflecting themes of longing, love, and life’s emotional turns. In the winding streets of traditional neighborhoods such as Bairro Alto or Alfama, local restaurants serve as intimate stages for this timeless art. Here, professional singers and musicians perform as you enjoy an authentic Portuguese tasting menu, an evening where music, tradition, and Lisbon’s spirit come together.

Expect to return to the hotel between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.
